My central air system, after running perfectly for a month after Dan installed all brand new parts, suddenly stopped working on a sweltering Saturday morning. Although at the beach with his family, Dan came right away with equipment to troubleshoot. The problem was not with equipment he installed. The drive belt of the exhaust fan in the mechanical room had broken, which caused the room temp to climb way over 100 degrees. My new equipment had automatically turned off to prevent damage to itself. Dan replaced the fan belt, installed a new filter, and I hope returned to his family at the beach.
